Meet Maria

Specializing in investment properties, Maria Bernal brings a wealth of personal and professional real estate investment experience to the Caviar Global Properties team. As a 20-year resident of Pompano Beach and an investor in local properties, she provides clients with invaluable expertise in the South Florida market, offering unique insights into the region’s different cities and neighborhoods.

 

Maria is particularly skilled at handling 1031 exchanges, and she regularly works with business owners to guide them through the complex process while making it as enjoyable and financially rewarding as possible. Known for her hands-on approach, Maria ensures that her clients have all the information they need to reach their investment goals by delivering accurate comps and providing clear, constant communication throughout the process.

 

Born in Chicago and raised in Miami, Maria holds a bachelor’s in education from the University of Illinois, a master's in education from Illinois’ National Louis University, and a doctorate in leadership from Barry University in Miami. Following a five-year teaching career in Chicago, she returned to South Florida and joined her family’s business, Lamoti, Inc., working as a property manager and being involved with the purchase and sale of multiple residential investment properties. She earned her sales associate license in 2017, and she is excited to share her deep knowledge of real estate investing and the benefits of passive income with others.
